On Monday, June 28, 2010 ten area youth golfers participated in the 32nd Annual Platteville Optimist Junior World Golf Tournament held at the Platteville Golf and Country Club. The event is open to all boys and girls age 11-13 and 14-16. Trophies are awarded to the top 2 finishers in each of the four flights. This year's winners are front row L to R: Girls age 11-13 Ellie Fillback 2nd and Mallory Peat 1st. Boys age 11-13 Beau Solomon 2nd and Brady Peat 1st. Boys age 14-16 Clayton Stanton 2nd and Derek Peat 1st. Back row Optimists Charlie Clark, Phil Swift, and Doug Martin. Not pictured is Optimist Gordon Gimski.
